Anna Kofoed has been named the new chief executive officer of travel and a member of the board of management at Allianz Partners.
In her new post, Kofoed succeeds Damien Ladous, who has been leading the travel line of business since 2021 and the group finance function as CFO since early 2023. Ladous will now be able to devote his full attention to his role as group CFO and his participation on the board of management.
Previously, Kofoed worked for Amadeus, a worldwide travel technology company that provides B2B and B2C travel services, as can be seen on her LinkedIn profile. She most recently worked as Amadeus’ EMEA travel sellers’ executive vice president.
During her time at Amadeus, she held several positions of worldwide leadership responsibility in areas like marketing, sales, strategy, and business planning. She just graduated from Harvard’s Advanced Management Program and is an alumna of Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, where she earned an international MBA.
“Anna has extensive experience in the travel industry, and combined with her technological expertise, she will be invaluable in helping Allianz Partners achieve its growth ambitions, develop its travel ecosystem platform, and become the digital travel companion that it aims to be,said Tomas Kunzmann, Allianz Partners CEO.
“Anna can expand on Damien’s pioneering management of the travel company during a time of exceptional transformation and robust financial performance. It gives me great pleasure to announce that Damien has accepted the position of group chief financial officer at Allianz Partners.
Allianz also recently shared the financial results of its business unit for the three and nine months ending September 30.
