Michael Lin, who is also the chief information officer for Travelers Canada, was the one who initially made the statement. He is the chair of the CSIO board.
Lin stated in an email that Brett’s technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to delivering customer-focused services and business transformation in the insurance industry are evident in his many accomplishments. The presence of this individual on the board of directors of the CSIO will be beneficial in terms of streamlining the operations of property and casualty insurance organizations.
In the commercial and technical divisions of the insurance industry, Fawbert has more than 26 years of expertise with the company. His career has afforded him the opportunity to hold executive roles in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
Aviva’s security, technology estate, change execution, and service enhancement are all areas that Fawbert is responsible for enhancing and modernizing in his capacity as chief information officer. In addition to directing the migration and acceptance of Aviva’s cloud platform, he has also been the driving force behind key IT transformation and service improvement efforts. These are just some of the notable accomplishments of his career.
When asked about his new job within the organization, Fawbert enthusiastically expressed his excitement to join the board of directors of CSIO and contribute to the advancement of the digital transformation of the insurance business.
In addition, he stated, “I am looking forward to collaboratively working with my fellow directors to optimize broker connectivity by utilizing technology and data standards.”
In order to promote the integration of its enhanced eDocs codes and descriptions across the industry, the CSIO organized an eDocs implementation steering committee, which led to the appointment of Fawbert. Reps from a variety of insurance companies, brokers, and suppliers are included in the group.
